Sales Development Representative (Remote)

GetThru is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to assist our Sales team in new market segment lead generation, outbound campaigns, and qualification. As a part of the Sales, Success, and Marketing team, you will be working closely with your team members who are managing our company’s work in outbound sales to new market segments. 

You'll manage processes around lead generation and comprehensive outbound campaigns to key prospects, including via email, social media, text, and calls. As you grow in the role, you'll perform qualification calls and eventually, perform product demos and manage a sales pipeline

This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position and reports to one of our Senior Sales Managers.

In the 2020 election cycle we helped propel several of the highest-profile Democratic campaigns in the nation to victory, along with plenty of progressive state and local candidates.

We are an all-remote company with 40+ full time staff spread across the US and Canada. Prior to the pandemic, we had a once-yearly all staff retreat, and held semi-annual in-person team meetings (e.g., sales, support, development). Who you are / who will love this job

What you’ll do

  • Help us develop and manage lead generation for three market segments

  • Implement outreach strategies for three market segments including email, phone, text, and social 

  • Establish engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales opportunities

  • Track outbound outcomes/KPIs and report back to Sales team, and provide feedback/ideas for lead generation and outbound improvement based on outcomes

  • Upon request, perform prospect qualification calls

  • As you grow in the role, provide product demos to prospects and manage sales pipeline

What we’re looking for

The Sales operation at GetThru is unique: everyone on the team comes from a different background, including organizing, political campaigns, nonprofits, education fundraising, and more. If you’ve never held a Sales role before but are interested in bringing your related experience to one of our core areas of work to this position, we’d love to hear from you!

  • A demonstrated interest in one of GetThru’s core markets: progressive politics/campaigns, nonprofits, or education

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a self-driven manner

  • A high level of ownership, confidentiality, and attention to detail

  • Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

If you have any of the following additional experiences, please be sure to note them in your cover letter

  • Prior experience as a Sales Development Representative (or in a similar role)

  • Experience in lead generation and outbound sales, or in related work

  • Experience using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Salesforce, Growbots, and Hubspot

GetThru is an all-remote company with employees spread out across the country. Work from anywhere in the U.S. as long as there is good internet.


  • $50,000-60,000 base salary, depending on experience 

  • Additional compensation via participation in profit-sharing pool

  • Participation in employee stock option pool

  • 401K + employer match that begins on or after 3 months of employment
