GetThru is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our expanding technology team. As a small team, we all wear many hats and operate with a good deal of latitude and autonomy. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer, preferably with a strong secondary skill set in security/SecOps, software development, or database administration.
This is a hands-on role that will directly contribute to the success of our platform and company. You will play a key role in improving the agility, availability, scalability and security of our platform. You will work closely with the development team to ensure an automated and secure CI/CD pipeline.

Automate repetitive development, operations and deployment tasks
Collaborate with team members to refine application/infrastructure architecture
Identify, propose, and implement solutions that optimize the platform, monitoring, and processes
Optimize platform and environment to align to AWS well architected 5 pillars
Actively monitor production resources

Comfortable supporting customer facing, mission critical production environments
Extensive CI/CD experience within AWS, especially with erlang/elixir
Experience with tools & techniques to support a Secure Software Development LifeCycle (S-SDLC)
Hands on experience supporting microservices architecture within AWS container management solutions (ECS,EKS, Docker)
Able to build and maintain environments using infrastructure as code (Terraform)
Familiar with RDMS, ETL, and data analytics services
Experience with Security/Compliance Frameworks (NIST, SOC2, ISO 2700x, GDPR, etc)
Previous success in remote teams, small companies, SaaS environments

GetThru was launched in 2016 by veterans of the Bernie Sanders distributed organizing team to improve on the tools we used running voter contact programs, and we’re most excited about helping progressive politicians and organizations. We also believe in building a sustainable business, so we are actively expanding into other markets that could benefit from this technology, including working with more than 200 educational institutions. We have been profitable from day one without VC funding.
This is a remote position. You will work from anywhere in the U.S. as long as you have good internet and the work gets done! Our team members travel a few times a year to meet with the team in-person.
